Terra Nomad: A gathering for wanderers

Featured on Sisters in Law

In the words of Mia Loiselle: "As the slow embrace of golden hour spreads across the rippling field, we begin to make ourselves at home under the branches of the silver birch. A delicate piece of hanging linen adds a soft touch of alabaster white, while the warm heat of the afternoon fades and we gather for shared stories and sustenance, rejoicing in good food and good company. The tree beckons to those who haven’t yet arrived, its silver bark effervescent in the tall prairie grass. A warmth fills the evening even as the last rays of the sun depart, the subtle texture of the handcrafted ceramics complimenting the flowers that fill our evening with fragrance. As we come together, wanderers in our own right, we fall into an easy conversation, sharing the secrets of our respective crafts.”

Details made by Aeipathy:

  • Flowers: Bowl arrangements, bouquet, small installation

  • Textiles: Handmade and naturally-dyed napkins, ribbons and table runner

  • Quote sign: Painted slate sign adding texture and a story to the event

Spring Darling: Floral workshop & gathering

Aeipathy Studio’s first floral gathering went beautifully with great students and amazing work. We tackled the delicate poppy as our star flower in this workshop, creating fun pops of colour and texture in our bridal styled bouquets. The students also hand-dyed their own silk ribbons to finish off the bouquets with.

Details made by Aeipathy:

  • Flowers: flower recipe and instruction

  • Stationery: A take home package with the Aeipathy avocado dye recipe, flower care tips and a pair of floral shears.

  • Natural Dye: A homemade natural dye was provided as well as hand-torn ribbons for students to dye.

Special thanks to: Leckerbær for their amazing cookies, 56 Grader for hosting us and providing delicious snacks and to Gea Dancu our talented photographer!

CampFire Farewell

Great friends and food, paired with pretty lights and the warm glow of the fire made this the perfect summer send off for this going away party. The main course was stewing over the fire as we baked our bread from the same embers. Gourmet s’mores were enjoyed for dessert as we laughed by the fireside. We pitched some tents and spent the night, enjoying a light brunch and a hike the next day. All in all a perfect night.

Details made by Aeipathy:

  • Textile Decor: Avocado dyed cloth napkins, mini blankets, table cloths

  • Dip dyed watercolour plates, menus

  • Danish Flag Garland, centre piece details, XL cheeseboard spanning the table

  • Main Course and homemade bread was baked over the fire.

  • Flower arrangements
